The car didn't start and on the car display appeared Gearbox fault: Have the vehicle repaired and Parking brake fault: Have the vehicle repaired. The fault turned out to be a corroded orange wire from F6 above the battery to pin 3 of the 28 way connector on the gearbox ECU. The corroded wire was in the loom behind the battery and appeared to be corroded by battery acid (I'm not sure how) or from water entry into the loom.
