Ubisoft had two years since the launch of the PS5 to get it sorted out. They spent time crafting full next gen updates for Origins and Odyssey, but Syndicate was still left to flicker in the dark. Thankfully, that’s all finally changed. Ubisoft quietly pushed out a patch for the game last week, and it now looks excellent on the PS5. Don't know about the PS5 version, as I finished the game on PS4. That being said, the game is great, especially if you are an older AC fan. It is nothing like the new trilogy. Gameplay is mostly fluid, especially when traversing the Paris rooftops. Assassination missions are one of the best and something I wish they would bring back with new AC really nice to have this back up, first time installing it on the PS5. I will be interested to see how quick the load times are. they were already fast on my external ssd on PS4 Pro. But they will only go faster on the m.2 PS5 solid state drive. Assasin creed odyssey play really good with 60 fps on ps5 (just like the division 2). For me ubisoft games basically a different game playing on ps4 or ps5, 60 fps make the games really pleasant. It was developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux (also responsible for the Wrath of the Druids expansion for AC: Valhalla). Its scale is much smaller than that of the three previous installments of the series, namely AC: Origins, AC: Odyssey and AC: Valhalla. One can dream, but we'll probably just see faster loading times, a lock to 4K (it has a dynamic resolution), no drops below 30fps, and better texture filtering. I think I’d actually pay for fast loading times in this game. I only have enough money for two games today & I decided long ago Spiderman will be one of them and AC is currently top contender for place two but I dont want to have spent £500 on a next gen console and then £60 on the game for it to not run at 60fps. Maybe I'm being shallow but to me its a large part of the decision making process. Origins has extremely high CPU usage. It sucks and there isn't really much that can be done (from your end) unfortunately. I have a 1060 6gb and i5 6500 and just decided to cap the framerate at 45. My GPU and CPU usage is just like yours. OP has an i7 7700k, that's pretty high end. Good to hear! I bought AC origins because it cheap and Odyssey too. Waiting for Valhalla to go around the same price. Not sure I’ll play them soon because of how long it takes, but when I do play them, I hope it’s at 4k 60fps 1KF4J.
